This hands-on basic bike maintenance workshop at Macleod Community Hall runs for two and a half hours, covering how to check your bike is safe to ride, remove the front and back wheels, and deal with a flat tyre. You'll also learn how to look after your chain and pick up the names of parts so you can search out fixes yourself later. Depending on how the group is tracking, there may be time left to work on your own bike with help from the facilitator, so it's worth bringing yours along if you can. Tickets range from $5 to $25.
