Drawing on Ecology is a walking, talking drawing workshop along the Birrarung at Pound Bend, Warrandyte, on Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Country. Restoration ecologists Rebecca Rees and Nayt Housman from Merri Creek Management Committee and artist Craig Burgess from Draw Plants Together guide the day. You will try drawing techniques that encourage noticing and connection with nature, learn about riparian ecology and restoration, and spend time walking and observing the river. No drawing or ecology experience is needed.
