Urban ecologist Dr Jacinta Humphrey leads a free early-morning guided bird walk around the La Trobe University lakes, Nangak Tamboree and Darebin Creek. Participants help note species for ongoing annual bird surveys, with data added to eBird. All experience levels are welcome. Wear comfortable walking shoes, dress for the weather and bring binoculars if you have them; limited binoculars are available to borrow.
