Mernda Repair Cafe is a free community drop-in where volunteers help you fix broken household items rather than throw them out. Bring along a busted appliance, torn clothing, a wobbly chair, or a blunt knife and skilled repairers will take a look. Tools, materials, and expertise are provided — all you need is the broken thing and a bit of time.
