The Melbourne Fashion Week 2026 opening runway, ganbu marra, is held in the NGV's Gandel Hall. In Woi Wurrung, ganbu marra means one mob, and the collection is styled by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander model and M/FW First Nations Creative Director Lindyn Rowland. Designers include Atyene Clothing, Delvene Cockatoo-Collins, Kaninda, Marnin Studio and OUT OF HAND x Lisa Waup. The show is followed by a celebration of First Nations creativity and the opening of Melbourne Fashion Week.
